In our studio we teach hand-building, the potter’s wheel and a variety of glazing techniques. Our passion is for using different clays and exploring texture and form.
We use a state of the art electric kiln, and also practise traditional outdoor-firing techniques such as Raku and barrel-firing.

Jackie has been drawn to ceramics from an early age and took herself off on numerous evening courses from the age of 18 onwards before pursuing a career in TV Production. While still continuing with her pottery eduction throughout this time, thirty years later she decided to returned back to her love of pottery making to immerse herself fulling in both hand building and throwing.
Jackie’s work is predominately hand built from stoneware clay, painted with a mix of slips and oxides before being fired and glazed.
Her forms are drawn from her love of the Korean moon jar representing abundance, purity, and maternity.
